New book: The Accidental Library Marketer


Kathy Dempsey’s book The Accidental Library Marketer is due out Jul 1st. It looks like it will be an informative, practical approach to the subject, that will fill the gaps for many librarians who have found themselves as “accidental marketers” with no (or little) training in the area.

The table of contents is promising  – outlining marketing basics and then moving onto topics including environmental assessments, SWOT, marketing plans and promotional campaigns.
